IC Resources is hiring an experienced Mechanical/Structural Analyst for a Gloucester-based client. This is a 6-month contract, Outside IR35, with a hybrid work model available

Key Requirements

  • Perform shock and vibration analysis on electronic assemblies, enclosures, and systems using FEA tools and physical testing
  • Must have an understanding of MAP standards
  • Collaborate with design engineers to improve mechanical robustness and reduce failure risks
  • Interpret simulation and test data to provide design recommendations
  • Support qualification and certification processes for ruggedised products
  • Experience with shock and vibration analysis, understanding of structural dynamics and materials, and strong technical reporting skills
  • Desirable: experience with ruggedised computing, battery systems, secure communications, thermal/EMI considerations, Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
