Are you detail-driven and passionate about quality? Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Quality Assurance Officer, where you'll play a vital role in safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of our printed and paper-based assessment materials.
In this hands-on, office-based role within a regulated awarding organisation, youll be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring every item dispatched or received meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and compliance. Youll thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision matters, and your work will be subject to live auditing to maintain transparency and trust.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structured processes, takes pride in getting things right the first time, and can balance meticulous quality checks with the need to meet strict service level agreements (SLAs). Your efforts will directly impact the reliability of high-stakes assessments, making you an essential part of our delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough quality assurance checks on all outgoing and incoming paper-based materials, including exam papers and certificates.
- Ensure all printed materials meet internal quality standards prior to dispatch.
- Accurately handle and sort all incoming mail, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Be subject to live audits to verify accuracy, completeness, and SLA compliance.
- Certificate printing for endorsed and regulated qualifications, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.
- Processing paper-based exam requests in line with print production protocols and SLA requirements.
- Handling returned exam papers with precision and adherence to procedure.
- Complete replacement certificate requests, ensuring a full quality-controlled process takes place.
- Complete quality checks on E-Certs ahead of release.
- Manage an inbox in line with a 24 hour SLA.
Other Responsibilities
- Liaising with couriers and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Managing an inbox, handing queries in-line with SLA.
- Provide updates on deliveries, and the processing of requests.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient print room environment.
- Support with other associated task that sit in the wider department such as result release process and, system reviews.
- Process data tasks associated to End-Point Assessment data cleansing with accuracy.
- Support the wider Assessment Quality Assurance Department as needed.

Essential Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling printed materials.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and handling mail or printed materials.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow strict processes and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working in an education or awarding organisation.
- Proven experience in similar role.
- Familiarity with exam paper handling, certificate printing, or similar high-stakes document processes.
- Knowledge of service level agreements (SLAs) and compliance auditing.
- Experience liaising with couriers or third-party logistics providers.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles in a logistics context.
