Bench Joiner – Heathfield, Newton Abbot

Pay: £16.10 per hour + Tool Allowance + Bonus + overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Overtime Available)

About the Job

We're looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our busy workshop team. This is a practical, hands-on role making quality joinery and interior units. You'll be working with your tools every day in a friendly, well-equipped workshop.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Making and assembling bespoke laminated joinery items
  • Working with a range of workshop machinery (panel saws, spindle moulders, edge banders, CNC, etc.)
  • Reading and following cutting lists and drawings
  • Carrying out daily maintenance and quality checks
  • Helping out on-site when needed

What We're Looking For

  • Proven joinery experience NVQ Level 3
  • Confident using woodworking machinery and tools
  • Able to read drawings and work accurately
  • Good attention to detail and safety-conscious
  • Reliable and enjoys hands-on, practical work
