Principal Clinical Psychologist
- Community Mental Health Service for Adults
- Band 8a
- Salary scale (£61,611 to £73,492 per annum)
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will carry out complex psychological assessments in partnership with service users, with a wide range of presenting issues, selecting and administering specialist psychometric assessments, self-report measures, structured observations and clinical interviews as appropriate and interpret and integrate this complex data into intervention/care plans.
You will formulate evidenced based psychological treatment plans that are specific to each client, drawing on appropriate conceptual and theoretical models monitoring outcome and modifying and adapting interventions as required.
You'll be part of a welcoming, multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, mental health nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, CBT, DBT and EMDR therapists, and support workers. Our work is guided by our CARE values —

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
