We are now looking for a Van Driver to join our Uxbridge branch.

About the Role

We seek to appoint a full-time Van Driver who will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient delivery service to customers, providing excellent customer service and to carry out any other reasonable duties to support the running of the branch.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • To transport goods to and from specified locations according to company delivery schedules. Transporting these in a safe manner, ensuring they are properly secured to eliminate any damage in transit.
  • To carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Ensure that any vehicle defects are reported promptly when identified.
  • To communicate effectively with branch in relation to traffic issues or other possible delays.
  • Assist with other Warehouse duties as and when required.

About You:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Valid driving licence
  • Good knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferrable.
  • Forklift Truck experience is preferrable.
