What You'll Do
The Commercial In-Life Management team performs end to end commercial management of Vodafone Business UK's most strategic customers throughout all stages of the contract lifecycle through bid, contract signature, in-life, extension/renewal and exit.

As a Senior Commercial In-Life Manager Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance across a portfolio of accounts within the Finance, Retail and Services sectors with annual revenues in excess of £120m. You will lead a team of commercial professionals to ensure contractual compliance, maximise revenue and profitability, improve customer satisfaction and mitigate risk.

  • Team Leadership & Development - Lead and develop a team of commercial professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and commercial acumen
  • Contract Ownership & Lifecycle Management - Own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex commercial contracts, from negotiation and execution to renewal and termination. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented
  • Strategic Commercial Input - Provide expert commercial advice during pre-sales, bid development, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with relevant functions to shape commercially sound agreements
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight - Identify and manage commercial risks, ensuring compliance with internal governance and external regulatory frameworks
  • Client Relationship Management - Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, understanding their strategic goals and aligning contract delivery to support mutual success
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting - Track contract performance against KPIs, manage escalations, and deliver executive briefings on commercial health and profitability

Who You Are

  • Significant experience in commercial contract management within the telecoms or technology sector
  • Proven people management and development skills
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement and dispute management skills
  • Ability to interpret complex contractual clauses and translate them into operational actions
  • Experience in structuring and managing highly complex commercial models
