At Harrison, we're looking for a Project Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of exciting, bespoke customer projects from concept to completion.
What Will You Be Doing:
The job holder is expected to proficiently undertake the following tasks:
Work with Account Managers to understand initial sales enquiries that come in from customers for non-stocked items.
Identify the most cost-effective route of supply for the item/components.
Work with the Category Buyers to source and obtain best costs for items/components.
Supply Account Managers with sales prices and lead times ready for the Account Managers to quote the customer.
Take ownership of projects that have been successfully won. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Working with the Commercial Assistants to enable them to order the necessary items for the project
b. Act as a first point of escalation for delays and issues with projects
c. Planning the project in the PM software where needed.
d. Hosting cross-functional meetings with internal and external project stakeholders and setting action points.
e. Taking final responsibility for delivering the project on-time and within budget.
f. Working with internal teams to resolve adverse situations that may occur during the course of the project.
g. Relentlessly pursuing options to increase profitability of the project without impacting the quality of delivery.
h. Communicating with suppliers to ensure successful delivery of the project
i. Visiting suppliers, where appropriate, to check and approve bespoke production
Delegating appropriate tasks to the Commercial Assistants.
Achieving personal goals that are set and agreed with your line manager.
Participating in meetings and activities in a constructive and collaborative manner.
The above list of responsibilities will be reviewed to accurately represent the job role and may be amended as required.
Who We Are Looking For:
To carry out the duties above, the following skills, competencies and experiences are necessary:
- Minimum of four GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English. Maths must be at grade 5/B or above (or equivalent).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Attributes
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented.
- Practical mindset with vocational or hands-on experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp or Asana.
- Proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
