Educational Psychologist (Sessional) – London E14 9RP

Location: Canary Wharf / Poplar, London

Contract: Sessional / Freelance

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Educational Psychologist to join our team on a sessional basis, supporting children, young people and families in the London E14 area. This is a flexible role ideal for professionals who value autonomy, impact, and high-quality practice.

About the Role

You will deliver psychological assessments and evidence-based recommendations for children and young people presenting with learning, behavioural, developmental or emotional needs. Work will include:

  • Conducting full cognitive, learning and developmental assessments
  • Providing written reports with clear, actionable recommendations
  • Contributing to EHCP assessments and consultations
  • Delivering advice sessions to parents, schools and multi-agency partners
  • Supporting schools with inclusion planning and intervention strategies
  • Offering specialist expertise in areas such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or specific learning difficulties

This is a sessional role, allowing you to take on cases that suit your availability.

About You

We are looking for an Educational Psychologist who:

  • Is HCPC-registered
  • Holds a recognised doctorate or master's degree in Educational Psychology
  • Has strong assessment, formulation and report-writing skills
  • Values ethical, child-centred practice
  • Communicates clearly with families, schools and professionals
  • Is reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental assessments (e.g., Dyslexia, ASD/ADHD) is highly desirable but not essential.
