Mark Nelson Vets have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our well established, RCVS accredited practice in Thornton Heath, Greater London.

We're a friendly, close-knit team in a small, busy clinic at the heart of the community. By joining us, you'll work alongside passionate professionals who are dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional care.

The Role:

This position offers a mixture of ops and consultation days, and the successful candidate will be confident with all routine procedures, including occasional rabbits.

  • Salary up to £55,000 (pro rata) depending on experience
  • Permanent or fixed term contract, full-time or part-time – chat to us about options
  • 3-4 days per week (9.5-hour shifts) between Must include a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Fridays are optional but ideally we need some flexibility to cover holidays where possible
  • 1:3 Saturday mornings Saturdays are sole charge and there may be occasional sole charge days
  • No out-of-hours or on-call

Mark Nelson Vets was first launched in 1982, with practices at Thornton Heath and Westerham. We have great facilities and everything we need including Ultrasound, Radiography, Dental Radiography, Multiparameter machine, Tonopen, Dopler and Petmap. We also have Orthopaedic and Cardiology specialists available when needed.

We've made strong bonds in our communities over the decades, and we take every opportunity to get involved and to give back, including providing services to several local charities and outreach work.

Our Fabulous Team:

We have 2 part-time, long-term Vets and 1-3 long-term qualified Nurses plus 1 Student RVN. You'll become a valued member of our highly supportive team and practice where everyone's ideas and contributions count.
