Location: Glasgow/Edinburgh

Hours: Full-time. However, part-time candidates will be considered.

Working directly with Partners and other Internal Audit team members to oversee a portfolio of clients and ensuring that all compliance requirements are met.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years internal audit experience
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out programme of Internal Audit work
  • Prepare and present reports on findings
  • Maintain a high level of regulatory knowledge and awareness of emerging issues attending necessary training/development opportunities to support this
  • Investigate and determine causes and irregularities
  • Perform any other reasonable undertakings as requested by the partners and clients

Skills/Abilities:

  • Organised and able to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and understand the importance of meeting client expectations
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both in writing and verbally
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has the ability to consistently produce work of a high standard
  • Demonstrates a proactive attitude
  • Have the ability to Identify emerging/relevant regulatory issues
  • Displays a good work ethic - showing initiative and motivation
  • Excellent PC skills are essential - advanced knowledge of Excel
