We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking clinical leader to head our Outpatient and Pre-Assessment Nursing Teams. This is a pivotal role for someone who combines clinical credibility with a commercial mindset, and who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to outpatient and pre-assessment nursing services
  • Drive excellence in patient care, ensuring services are safe, effective, and responsive
  • Champion clinical governance, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and development of nursing staff
  • Support financial and performance targets, contributing to the department's commercial success

About You

  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, ideally within outpatient or pre-assessment services
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and driving service efficiency
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and team-building skills
  • Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement in patient care

Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1968. With 40 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, 3 state of the art operating theatres and physiotherapy services.
