My client, a leading systematic hedge fund, is seeking a highly skilled Datacentre Engineer to join their London office.

This role will involve managing and maintaining the physical infrastructure of their critical data centres, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability for their global operations. You will be at the core of the firm's infrastructure, working directly with network, hardware, and cloud engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with server hardware, networking protocols, and datacentre management. Expertise in managing high-availability systems, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies is essential. Experience with power management, cooling solutions, and hardware installations is highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in datacentre automation and familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell is a strong plus.

The successful candidate will possess strong Linux and Windows system administration skills, and will have proven experience of troubleshooting and optimising large-scale, complex datacentre environments.
