Multi-Skilled Laundry Engineer
to keep our plant running at peak performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive engineer with strong
electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic
capabilities who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems and making a meaningful impact in a fast paced production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Multi-Skilled Laundry Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our equipment, facilities, and overall site performance. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintenance & Repairs

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of laundry machinery and building systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and responding promptly to breakdowns across
    electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
    systems.
  • Completing safe, efficient repairs and ensuring equipment is returned to operation quickly.
  • Enhancing equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency through continuous improvement and optimisation.

Operational Support & Improvements

  • Collaborating with production teams to reduce downtime and maintain consistent output.
  • Supporting engineering projects, equipment upgrades and long term site improvements.
  • Providing technical insights to refine maintenance schedules and prevent recurring issues.
  • Using our PPM & AI software

Safety, Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Reporting equipment risks, failures, incidents and near misses to the Engineering Manager.
  • Monitoring contractors and ensuring compliance with site rules and standards.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adherence to engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an engineer with strong technical experience and a positive, proactive attitude. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance, manufacturing, engineering or production-support role.
  • Hands-on proficiency in
    electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
    diagnostics and repair.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or a recognised apprenticeship (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and electrical schematics.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Right to work in the UK.
