Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for flexible work opportunities?

We are seeking ad-hoc Primary Teachers to provide support in mainstream and Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across West Cornwall, including Redruth, Camborne, Hayle, St Ives, Penzance & Helston. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who want to work around their schedules while making a positive impact on the education of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom teaching support in a variety of primary school settings (mainstream and SEN)
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in the absence of regular class teachers
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth classroom management
  • Support pupils' individual learning goals, particularly in SEN schools

Requirements:

  • Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience working in primary schools and/or specialist SEN settings
  • Strong classroom management skills and a compassionate approach
  • Flexibility and reliability to work across a range of schools
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
