Solution Architect – Payments / Finance / Digital Projects (Integration & Cloud focus)

Robert Half International (an S&P 500 global staffing provider) is supporting a global consulting firm in sourcing an
interim Solution Architect
. This role will focus on providing architectural design and leadership across multiple critical projects, including a
payments platform replacement
,
finance systems HLD
, and
digital document/member portal
initiatives.

Assignment Details

  • Initial 3-month contract (rolling extensions likely)
  • Hybrid – remote with 1 day per month on-site in Leeds
  • £650 per day via umbrella

Key skills & experience

  • Proven experience as a
    Solution Architect
    in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong background in
    systems integration
    ,
    data flow
    , and
    on-prem to cloud
    solution design
  • Experience with
    payment platforms
    ,
    finance or ledger systems
    , and
    digital/web-based applications
  • Solid understanding of
    Azure
    and modern architecture principles (HLD/LLD, APIs, microservices)
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to manage workshops with business and technical teams
  • Ideally 10+ years' experience, with exposure to
    financial services
    ,
    insurance
    , or
    membership organisations
