Fractional Videographer Role

Innovators London is building a community of founders, engineers, and innovators working on AI and biotech. We host monthly speaker events and need someone to capture them professionally.

What You'll Do

Per Event (1.5 hours on-site):

• Set up tripod-mounted pro camera focused on speaker + slides corner
• Capture clean audio with lapel microphone on the speaker
• Film the full talk + Q&A session
• Single file export to Vimeo within 48 hours

That's it. No editing, no graphics, no post-production. Raw, clean recording.

The Details

Frequency: 2–3 events per month

Event Details:

• Time: 6:30pm–8:00pm (you arrive 6:15pm, leave ~8:15pm)
• Location: Varies (usually central London, rooftop venues)
• Attendees: ~20 people + 1 speaker
• Setup: Tripod, camera, lapel mic. Aim at speaker and slide corner for reference.

What You Provide:

• Pro camera (4K or 1080p minimum)
• Tripod
• Clip-on lavalier microphone
• Vimeo Pro account (for uploading, or we can cover costs)

Requirements

• Equipment: Professional camera + tripod + lavalier mic (non-negotiable)
• Reliability: Can commit to 2–3 events/month at scheduled times
• Turnaround: Deliver Vimeo link within 48 hours of event
• Quality: Clean audio, steady camera, good framing. That's the bar.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From £18,879.96 per year

Expected hours: No more than 5 per week
