An enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher is sought by a well-regarded Independent co-educational school in Barnet. The successful candidate will inspire students in Key Stage 5 with the fascinating world of psychology, fostering their understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Psychology Teacher lessons to students in Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
  • Develop students' understanding of key psychological theories, research methods, and ethical considerations.
  • Foster a stimulating and analytical learning environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Psychology, providing insightful feedback to support their academic development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the A-Level.
  • A strong academic background in Psychology and a passion for the subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of making complex psychological concepts accessible to students.
