Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Part Time Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales and promoting our products. As a Sales Advisor, you will engage with customers, provide product demonstrations, and ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
  • Maintain high standards of merchandising and stocking throughout the store
  • Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues
  • Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and performing regular stock checks

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer engagement
  • Familiarity with merchandising techniques and grocery store operations is beneficial
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 30kg or more
