Programme Overview
Our 2026 Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 15 June and finishing on Friday 21st August 2026. This Programme will provide you with a unique introduction into the investment management industry and how the Infrastructure department operates within it.

• We are only accepting applications from penultimate year students graduating in 2027.

You'll be given introductory training with the internship intake across the firm and more specific training within the Greencoat Infrastructure team, as well as opportunities to network with people across the business. During your internship you will be assigned to the Infrastructure team where you will have the opportunity to shadow senior executives and provide broad infrastructure exposure across [investment, asset management, sustainability, product and investor relations].

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are motivated and have a clear passion to work within Schroders Capital Infrastructure.

Some Of Your Tasks May Include

• Working with the business development and product strategy teams to develop and launch new product offerings with a view to growing our platform globally. This involves research of new investment themes, supporting the structuring of new products and the creation of client materials
• Supporting capital raising processes, including investor due diligence, onboarding, and stakeholder coordination
• Assisting in portfolio management operations, including fund construction analysis, investment governance, investor reporting, and maintaining fund-level data

The department
Schroders Capital - Greencoat offers access to a broad range of private market investment opportunities, portfolio building blocks and customised private market strategies. Our diversified range of investment strategies includes real estate, private equity, secondaries, venture capital, infrastructure, securitised products and asset-based finance, insurance-linked securities and impact investing.

Schroders Capital Infrastructure is umbrella term for the infrastructure equity investment capabilities across the Schroders Group's private markets business, which encompasses team members at

in the UK and other regulated entities throughout the Schroders Group internationally. Collectively, this comprises a team of over 130 staff with a presence in 8 countries across Europe, the United States and China and has invested over €16.5 billion into ca. 450 energy transition assets at various project stages, with an aggregate capacity of around 7.7GW.

The Knowledge, Skills And Qualifications We're Looking For

• An honours degree or equivalent – we're not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade.
• You will be in your penultimate year of study. Unfortunately we no longer accept applications from final year students considering further studies (i.e. Masters) upon completion of undergraduate course
• A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• The ability to understand our target audiences
