Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter or waitress to join our team.

You must be able to work evenings.

You must be highly presentable, sociable, kind and considerate.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing excellent guest services.

This role involves various tasks related to food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy working with others, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation at all times.
  • Provide exceptional guest services by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
  • Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management.
  • Monitor stock levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues to management.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
  • A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated when required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour
