About the Role
We seek a Creative Director who blends strong hands-on visual design skills with the ambition to mature and elevate our creative function. This role is ideal for a Senior Graphic Designer / Art Director who has grown beyond pure execution and is ready to take on broader creative leadership—while still being highly productive and comfortable delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
You will oversee all creative marketing output: visual identity, advertising asset creation, campaign concepts, video direction, and brand expression. While messaging is supported by existing team members, this role emphasizes brand, visual and advertising excellence, ensuring creative output reinforces clients' commercial goals and our own brand's evolution.
You will collaborate closely with our visual design team, helping them grow, improving creative processes, and ensuring long-term continuity in the function. As we expand, the Creative Director will shape an "agency-within-the-agency" that supports our clients and strengthens our market positioning.
Responsibilities
AI-Driven Scale & Innovation
- Stay at the forefront of AI-driven creative technologies and understand how they can enhance productivity, scale, and creative diversity.
- Apply AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, generative design tools) to accelerate production, expand creative possibilities, and support rapid iteration.
- Identify opportunities where AI can improve workflow efficiency, reduce repetitive effort, and increase output speed—without requiring a large team.
- Educate and inspire the team on AI best practices, fostering a culture that integrates technology thoughtfully and creatively.
Creative Direction & Concept Development
- Define and drive the creative vision for client campaigns and for LeadFabric's own brand.
- Lead ideation and development of visual concepts for advertising, digital campaigns, and ABM programs.
- Ensure creative ideas clearly support commercial objectives, audience insights, and campaign goals.
Advertising & Visual Design Leadership
- Oversee the creation of compelling advertising assets across channels (display, social, web, email, and dynamic formats).
- Translate complex B2B messaging and targeting strategies into strong visual narratives that convert.
- Maintain a high bar for design quality while ensuring fast, reliable, high-volume production.
Balanced Video & Motion Direction
- Provide direction and hands-on execution for video, motion graphics, video/podcasts and lightweight production as needed.
- Integrate video strategically into broader campaign concepts rather than as a standalone specialism.
Hands-On Production & Creative Output
- Deliver high-quality design work on tight deadlines, balancing creativity with productivity.
- Step in on visual or motion tasks when needed to ensure continuity and excellence.
Brand Development
- Evolve and maintain LeadFabric's visual identity across digital, motion, and brand-touch assets.
- Ensure brand consistency across internal and client-facing materials.
Team Coaching & Creative Operations
- Mentor and guide designer(s), strengthening skillsets and creative thinking.
- Help build scalable processes, workflows, and tools that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support a collaborative environment where creative decisions are linked to business objectives.
Commercial Awareness & ROI Mindset
- Ensure creative output supports measurable business outcomes and marketing objectives.
- Balance artistic ambition with economic impact—understanding that strong creative drives revenue, not just aesthetics.
- Collaborate with strategists and campaign managers to align creative work with performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with strategists, consultants, writers, and campaign managers to align creative output with strategic intent.
- Translate marketing and ABM strategies into creative directions that resonate with B2B audiences and drive engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia design, or equivalent field.
- Experience in a high-paced agency environment or comparable creative role.
Required Skills
Creative & Technical Expertise
- Strong background in visual design with a portfolio that demonstrates excellence in layout, campaign design, brand identity, and motion/video work.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Premiere Pro/After Effects a plus) or similar.
- Experience designing advertising assets for performance-driven digital campaigns for enterprise brands.
Art Direction & Leadership
- Ability to guide designers, video creators, and external partners.
- Comfortable providing clear, constructive creative direction and elevating work without micromanaging.
- Skilled at balancing hands-on execution with leading a function.
AI & Emerging Tools
- Awareness of how AI can support and accelerate creative production.
- Experience with tools like Midjourney, Runway, or similar is a strong advantage.
Process, Speed & Collaboration
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong personal productivity and time-management skills—able to deliver high-quality work at high velocity.
- Experience with Agile or similar frameworks is an advantage.
Background
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia design, or equivalent field.
- Experience in a high-paced agency environment or comparable creative role.
- International Focus: This role requires outstanding English skills—both written and verbal—and the cultural agility to work comfortably within an international, primarily Anglo-Saxon business context.
