Duties

  • Operate excavators to perform digging, lifting, and moving materials as required on site.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate excavation activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as necessary, utilising commercial driving skills when required.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
