Treasury Analyst

Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their growing team in London, reporting into the Group Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash positions across multiple entities and projects, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational and capital expenditure needs.
  • Project-Based Forecasting: Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to forecast cash requirements for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
  • Banking & Payments: Manage banking relationships, oversee payment runs, and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Debt & Funding Support: Assist in managing revolving credit facilities, project financing arrangements, and drawdowns for major construction contracts.
  • FX & Risk Management: Support the identification and mitigation of foreign exchange and interest rate risks, particularly for international procurement and subcontracting.
  • Treasury Reporting: Prepare regular reports on cash flow, covenant compliance, and treasury KPIs for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline treasury operations, automate reporting, and enhance controls in a project-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), trained in practice or industry with exposure to treasury, cash management, and potentially looking at commencing their ACT qualification. Strong interpersonal and communicative ability will be necessary to collaborate with nationwide teams, as well as capable systems experience including excel.
