We're working with a respected aerospace & defence manufacturer based in Poole that's known for its high-precision machining and assembly work. They're on the lookout for an experienced
Manufacturing Engineer
to strengthen their engineering team and help refine manufacturing methods across the shop floor.

As a
Manufacturing Engineer
, you'll take ownership of developing and optimising machining and assembly processes, ensuring jobs are released to AS9100 standards and run efficiently from start to finish. You'll be the technical go-to person for production, working closely with both customers and suppliers to get parts right first time, every time.

Day-to-day as a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll:

  • Determine and plan optimum
    manufacturing methods and processes
  • Produce detailed
    job packs
    for release to the shop floor
  • Support production teams with
    technical problem-solving
  • Identify and manage
    tooling requirements
    for new components
  • Collaborate with
    customers and suppliers
    to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Work to strict
    AS9100 and customer specifications

What we're looking for in a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Proven experience as a
    Manufacturing Engineer
    within aerospace or other high-precision sectors
  • Strong understanding of
    machining and manufacturing processes
  • Good knowledge of
    materials and surface treatments
  • Awareness of
    commercial factors
    in production planning
  • Experience using
    ERP systems
    and Excel
  • CAD experience (Catia) would be a real bonus
