YMCA Norfolk is on the lookout for enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate individuals to join our Youth Clubs team as a Bank Youth Engagement Worker. This is your chance to be part of an exciting project supporting young people, helping them build confidence, friendships, and life skills in a safe and inspiring space.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering fun, engaging, and purposeful evening youth sessions
  • Supporting young people to express themselves and take part in activities they love
  • Creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued
  • Building strong relationships with young people, parents, and the wider community
  • Encouraging youth leadership and peer mentoring opportunities
  • Promoting equality, respect, and positive behaviour at all times

What you'll need to succeed



  • A genuine passion for working with young people
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible, can-do attitude – especially during evenings and weekends
  • Experience in youth work or community engagement (desirable but not essential)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
