OT Cyber Security Specialist

We're supporting a global Tier-1 automotive manufacturer on a multi-year OT security transformation. If you enjoy shaping strategy and getting hands-on in brownfield plants, this is your platform to build a global standard aligned to IEC 62443.

The impact you'll make

  • Lead OT security assessments and maturity uplift; translate findings into a pragmatic global roadmap.
  • Design secure zones & conduits, drive IT/OT segmentation, and embed controls for asset discovery, vuln management, IR and backups across SCADA/PLC/HMI.
  • Integrate OT with MDR and on-prem SIEM/Sentinel; evaluate OT IDS.
  • Partner with plant managers, engineers, vendors and GRC to standardise how sites operate.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 62443, TISAX, ISO 27001; support audits and supplier risk.

What you'll bring

  • 5–7+ years in OT/ICS security in industrial settings; automotive a plus.
  • Real-world segmentation, secure remote access for vendors, IR playbooks, and experience with SIEM/IDS.
  • Confident with controls engineers and exec stakeholders; clear, inclusive communicator.

Package & set-up

  • £70,000–£80,000 base + £6,000 car allowance
  • Bonus up to 18%
  • Pension up to 20% total (up to 12% employer when you contribute up to 8%)

  • UK-based Hybrid(office 2–3× per month) | ~25% international travel
