Consultant - Data & Enterprise Architecture

As a Consultant within Data & Enterprise Architecture you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing data, engaging with business subject matter experts and projects teams to support the clients HR & Finance transformation programmes. This role involves working with large datasets, identifying trends, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders – you must be comfortable working with excel and other data tools. You would also be supporting on other areas of architecture including the development of requirements, integrations, and the articulation of technology landscapes in line with business requirements.

Description of role:
- Gather data from multiple sources, such as internal databases, external APIs, and third-party tools.
- Clean, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats.
- Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Conduct deep dives into specific business problems to provide recommendations based on data insights and solutions.
- Create dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools like Power BI, or Excel.
- Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technology, HR and Finance.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
- Document workflows, methodologies, and data sources for future reference.
- Definition of a future-state architecture with client stakeholders, including key considerations and design decisions
- Impact assessment of current to future state
- Participating in workshops in all architecture-related areas
We're looking for people who have
Required:
- Previous experience in a data role.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience of HR, Finance or SaaS implementation projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal; able to describe complex technical problems to a variety of audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other analytical tools.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
