Somersham Primary School is a welcoming and vibrant school located on the outskirts of Ipswich. We are in a hard federation with Bramford CEVCP School and have a shared vision of 'Living in Unity; Together we are ACE (aspiration and combined excellence for everybody).' 

We are looking to appoint an excellent and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across key stages. The role will involve supporting pupils both individually and in small groups across, as well as covering classes for PPA time. You may also be asked to provide additional cover for staff absence or training. 

You will have:

  • the confidence to work as a team and demonstrate the ability to contribute to the school's development

  • creative ideas and the ability to plan and provide exciting learning opportunities for our pupils
  • relevant experience, qualifications and good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
