We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Clerk to support aerospace operations through accurate data management, documentation control, and administrative support. This role (can be flexible to suit candidate) is ideal for someone with experience in office environments and digital collaboration tools, particularly Google Workspace.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update technical documentation and records in accordance with aerospace standards.
- Support data control processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Assist engineering and operations teams with document tracking and version control.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely flow of information.
- Archive and retrieve technical files and records as needed.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent; further education in administration, engineering, or data management is a plus.
- Eligibility to work in the aerospace sector (security clearance may be required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar).
- Familiarity with data control systems and document management practices.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desired Skills
- Basic understanding of aerospace terminology and documentation standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a technical clerical or administrative role, ideally within aerospace or engineering.
- Experience handling controlled documents and working within regulated environments.
- Comfortable working with digital tools and cloud-based systems.
