Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced construction NVQ assessor to join our team. You will work closely with our senior IQAs and assessors to ensure the company's high standards are always maintained. You will be able to assess a range of NVQs. It would also be advantageous for you to have an IQA qualification.

We are looking for assessors with the following competencies & experience of assessing:

  • Site Management (Level 6 - 7)
  • Various Trade NVQs (Level 2 - 3)

All our portfolios are online e-portfolios (Quals Direct) therefore you need to be able to work remotely and have a strong understanding of how e-portfolio systems work.

You will also be expected to visit candidates on site. (Expenses will be paid and a car allowance considered if regular travel is undertaken.)

In addition to your role as an Assessor, there is a clear pathway to up-skill and progress into a Tutor role, delivering training across a variety of qualifications. You must therefore be open and willing to take on this professional development opportunity.

Qualifications Required

  • Holder of assessor/verifies qualifications such as:
  • A1/A2, V1/V2 or
  • D32/33/34 or
  • You will require one of the following qualifications
  • Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
  • Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
  • Relevant Level 2 or 3 Trade NVQ e.g. Level 2 NVQ in Site Carpentry.
  • Level 6 Construction Site Management NVQ Or Level 7 Senior Construction Management NVQ Or Level 6 Occupational Health & Safety NVQ.
  • Experience: You must have Construction Industry experience, ideally with experience in Construction Site Supervision / Management
