Senior Compliance Contractor – 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

London - Hybrid

Start date: 1st December | Inside IR35

Our client, a regulated financial services firm with MiFID permissions, is seeking an experienced
Senior Compliance Contractor
to support their Head of Compliance during a key period of activity.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong markets and derivatives compliance experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Compliance.
  • Ensure compliance controls and frameworks are robust and fit for purpose.
  • Assess trading eligibility with various counterparties.
  • Draft, update, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor trader activity and conduct surveillance.
  • Handle regulatory interactions and support responses.
  • Provide senior compliance guidance across the business.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience
    in a senior compliance role within an investment bank, trading firm, or markets/derivatives environment.
  • Strong knowledge of
    MiFID
    and
    EMIR
    .
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and regulators.
  • Available from
    1st December
    for the full
    6-month contract
    .
