The Mission

Our platform powers agentic AI, real-time insights, and applied data intelligence across multiple industries - all running on a modern, secure, AWS Cloud foundation built on Zero Trust principles.

The Platform Engineering function exists to make that foundation scalable, observable, and compliant, enabling every product, data, and AI team to build and deliver confidently for our enterprise clients.

The Role

As a Lead / Senior Platform Engineer, you'll own the infrastructure that keeps our AI platform fast, secure, and enterprise-ready. You'll own and evolve our AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) environment, automate everything with Terraform and Argo CD, and ensure our systems scale seamlessly as we onboard new enterprise clients.

You'll also own and mature the company's security operations, working closely with leadership to operationalise our Zero Trust architecture, evolve our endpoint and identity security strategy, and ensure the company meets both technical and compliance standards (ISO 27001:2022).

You'll manage and continuously improve our endpoint protection, remote management, and email security ecosystem - ensuring full visibility, patching, and threat detection across the organisation - while steering the roadmap toward a centralised, SCIM-based identity and access management framework.

This is a hybrid role that blends platform engineering, security leadership, and compliance enablement. You'll be at the heart of how we scale infrastructure and security together - building systems that power AI products, protect enterprise data, and earn client trust at every level.

What You'll Do

• Work with an established Tech Team to Architect, build, and manage AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform as the single source of truth
• Lead and evolve our Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for high availability, scalability, and performance
• Design, implement, and maintain GitOps workflows with Argo CD, integrated into CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Implement and uphold Zero Trust architecture across infrastructure, networking, and identity management
• Manage and optimise database infrastructure supporting analytics, ML, and AI workloads
• Oversee database performance, access control, backup policies, and governance
• Manage and evolve endpoint protection, remote management, and email security ecosystem
• Drive the development of a SCIM-based identity and access management framework across systems
• Build and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry)
• Partner with Data Engineering to deploy Dagster pipelines and ensure reliability across data and AI workloads
• Support infrastructure delivery for existing and new enterprise clients, ensuring uptime, integrity, and compliance
• Lead the technical implementation of ISO 27001:2022, from security controls and audit readiness to incident response
• Establish and maintain best practices for infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, observability, and compliance-as-code
• Mentor engineers and promote a security-first, automation-first culture across the organisation

What We're Looking For

• Strong Experience in Platform / DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering roles
• Deep expertise in AWS (EKS, ECS, S3, EC2, CloudFront, Route53, IAM, Secrets Manager etc)
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm and containerised workloads (Docker)
• Advanced experience with Terraform and Argo CD (GitOps) for infrastructure automation and deployment
• Proven track record in database management (Aurora, PostgreSQL, or similar cloud-native databases)
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles, IAM, and network segmentation
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale clients with strict uptime, reliability, and security requirements
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and comfortable operating across infra, data, and security domains

Bonus

• Experience with event-driven architectures, vector databases, or ML/AI infrastructure
• Ideal experience implementing ISO 27001:2022 or similar frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, etc.)
• Familiarity with or interest in evolving SCIM-based identity and access management systems
