Interim Tax Manager (5 months)

Day Rate: Dependent on Experience (Inside ir35)

Peridot Search are supporting a leading international organisation in the appointment of an Interim Tax Manager for a 5-month contract.

This role offers an excellent chance for a seasoned tax professional to take on a high-level interim position within a large, internationally operating organisation. You'll be central to delivering robust tax reporting and maintaining compliance across the business, overseeing work carried out by external providers and leading on IFRS-related reporting requirements.

As Interim Tax Manager, you will:

  • Take ownership of preparing year-end and half-year tax provisions, including deferred tax computations in line with IFRS.
  • Ensure tax disclosures are complete and accurate within the financial statements, working closely with external auditors.
  • Oversee and maintain strong relationships with external tax advisers, reviewing corporate tax compliance work.
  • Provide guidance on ad-hoc tax matters, support key projects, and contribute to the SAO compliance programme.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to assess risks, strengthen controls, and enhance the efficiency of tax processes.

About you

  • A professional tax or accountancy qualification.
  • Experience in tax reporting under IFRS, with strong knowledge of corporate tax
  • Experience managing external advisors
  • Ability to operate in a complex, international business environment.
