Head of Religious Studies – Faith-Based School in High Wycombe

A respected Christian secondary school in High Wycombe is looking to appoint a compassionate and dedicated Head of Religious Studies to lead a department central to the school's mission of nurturing both minds and spirits through Religious Studies.

The Role

As Head of Religious Studies, you will:


• Provide strategic and spiritual leadership for the Religious Studies department across all key stages.


• Teach high-quality Religious Studies lessons that explore faith, ethics, and philosophy with academic depth and pastoral care.


• Organise enrichment opportunities such as chapel services, retreats, and charity projects related to Religious Studies.


• Support students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, and further study in Religious Studies.


• Champion Christian values while respecting and exploring diverse worldviews in Religious Studies.
