Overview
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep and smooth running of our serviced apartments. This is a contractor role, ideal for someone hands-on with a strong work ethic and flexible availability for weekends and occasional bank holidays.
Duties
- Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating).
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform apartment checks and report any safety or repair concerns.
- Support turnarounds between guest stays when needed (e.g., fix small issues quickly).
- Liaise with the management team to track tasks and report completed work.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed on all jobs.
Skills
- Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in hospitality or residential properties.
- Basic skills across multiple trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry).
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot on the spot.
- Own tools and transport preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends and some bank holidays.
- Good communication and time management.
- Full Clean driving license required
