Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant

We work closely with a fantastic special school in the Devizes area that are looking for new TA's to join the school from September. The school are based in a fantastic location with brand new facilities and boast a very high staff retention rate. 

The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities which will often be complex needs so experience in this area is essential.

The role

As there are a few gaps at the school currently, which class you will be supporting in is not set in stone, so will very much depend on your experience and where you best fit

The role will mostly be providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support where required. The classroom teachers look to their TA's for any additional support, consistency and proactiveness - proactiveness is the most important trait they require in a special school.
