We require an HGV Class 2 lorry drivers to deliver pallets of bagged animal feeds and other goods to our customers from our base in Ewen near Cirencester. The company's delivery area is mainly within 120 miles.

We have a limited number of customers and many have been customers for years and so the working relationship is excellent.

Duties include the planning of efficient loads and delivery routes. To ensure your vehicle is kept clean inside and out, regular maintenance checks are undertaken, and all service schedules are adhered to.

You need to be physically fit as some lifting may be required.

The role requires that you hold a full HGV class 2 and the required CPC qualifications, the following would be desirable but not essential:

Qualified to operate forklift vehicles would be an advantage

Well-motivated and flexible in meeting daily needs of the business.

Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.

Flexible with working hours to cover increase in workload and unexpected events.

Competitive basic salary and overtime at time and a half. The job is full time and permanent and carries the usual additional benefits.

Holding HGV class 1 (C+E) would also be an advantage to cover occasional holiday and sickness only.
