Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and professional Beautician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional beauty treatments and customer service, creating a welcoming environment for clients. Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of beauty treatments such as waxing, threading, .
  • Deliver outstanding guest services by understanding client needs and offering personalised recommendations.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining a professional reception area.
  • Utilise management skills to organise appointments efficiently and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Engage in social media management by creating content to promote services and enhance the salon's online presence.
  • Upsell additional treatments or products to maximise client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all treatment areas in accordance with health regulations.
  • Assist with guest services to ensure an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
  • Support team members with training or mentoring as required, contributing to a positive work environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience in beauty therapy or related fields such as makeup application, eyelash extensions, or deep tissue massage.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to organise appointments and oversee daily operations effectively.
  • Excellent social media management capabilities to promote services and engage with clients online.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Experience in front desk operations within a hospitality or beauty setting.
  • Knowledge of barbering techniques is desirable but not essential.
  • Effective communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members.
  • Ability to upsell treatments or products tactfully to enhance client satisfaction.
  • A background in hospitality or guest services is advantageous for creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an engaging environment where creativity meets professionalism, providing ample opportunities for personal development within the beauty industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
