Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Qualifications/Experience:


•Degree qualified or time served in the relevant engineering discipline


•Strong background in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) design within aerospace.


•Proficient in CATIA V5 and/or 3DExperience CAD tools.


•Knowledge of R&T environments, procedures, and demonstrator development processes.


•Experience in risk analysis, functional analysis, and technical documentation.


•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Role information:

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge Research & Technology (R&T) projects, including future WING design. You will play a key role in designing electrical connection elements and associated technologies within an aeronautical environment, specifically in the wing domain.


•You will develop and deliver design office outputs for R&T projects under the guidance of technical leaders.


•You will take ownership of a full work package, from concept to final maturity level.


•You will conduct pre-studies, technological comparisons, and state-of-the-art research.


•You will prepare simulations, engineering notes, calculation sheets, and risk/functional analyses.


•You will create technical specifications and documentation for TRL justification.


•You will produce detailed 3D and 2D designs using CATIA V5 and/or 3DExperience.


•You will select and liaise with manufacturing and test partners, ensuring progress and compliance.


•You will validate prototypes and develop test plans, including test rig design if required.


•You will compile test reports and contribute to Intellectual Property dossiers when necessary.
