We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
  • Handle specialised cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet or window cleaning
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll in designated areas
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Assist with organising cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests courteously and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is desirable, particularly within hotel or hospitality environments
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service roles can be beneficial for understanding client needs
  • Skills in cooking are considered a plus, especially for roles involving kitchen maintenance or food service areas
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
