Are you an experienced and compassionate carer looking to make a real difference during the most important stage of someone's life?

We are seeking a dedicated
Senior Carer with experience in end-of-life care
to join our committed team. This is a rewarding role where you'll support residents with life-limiting conditions, ensuring they receive comfort, dignity, and quality care in their final days.

Your Role Will Include

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred palliative and end-of-life care
  • Supporting residents with personal care and emotional reassurance
  • Supervising and mentoring care staff to maintain best practice
  • Liaising with families, GPs, nurses, and palliative care professionals
  • Monitoring residents' wellbeing and promptly responding to changes
  • Upholding dignity, respect, and sensitivity at all times

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in a senior carer or end-of-life/palliative care role
  • Compassionate, calm, and emotionally resilient nature
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care

Desirable (but Not Essential)

  • End-of-life care training (e.g., Gold Standards Framework, Six Steps)
  • Experience supporting families through bereavement
  • Knowledge of Advance Care Planning and DNACPR processes
