General Builder

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to contribute effectively to various building projects. As a Builder, you will be responsible for executing tasks that require precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety. We are looking for a competent individual with 15 years minimum experience in the building trade, who can manage a team of employees within there own building projects. They must be able to carry out all masonry aspects required to construct house extensions, renovations and New builds and have the experience to oversee other team members while still carrying out there own masonry duties.

Duties

• Carry out masonry work, including laying bricks, stonework and blocks to construct walls and other structures.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks.
• Assist with roofing projects, ensuring proper installation of materials for durability and weather resistance.
• Utilise hand tools effectively to complete tasks with precision.

Skills

• Proficient in masonry techniques with a solid understanding of materials used in construction.
• Competent in carpentry with the ability to read blueprints and execute plans accurately.
• Familiarity with operating various power tools safely within a construction environment.
• Experience with roofing materials and installation methods is beneficial.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
