Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design, ensuring high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times.
  • Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled work.

Skills

  • Proficient in English to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  • Strong painting skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to drive to different locations for job assignments.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
