About Us:
We are a dedicated dental practice that prioritizes cleanliness, safety, and the well-being of our patients. To support this mission, we are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Dental Practice Cleaner and Decontamination Assistant to join our team. This role is vital to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure cleanliness of the practice outside of normal operating hours, maintaining a pristine environment for both patients and staff.
· Perform regular deep cleaning in accordance with an agreed schedule with the Principal/Owner, ensuring all areas are hygienic and safe.
· Keep accurate records of cleaning services, in line with regulatory requirements.
· Maintain the good order and appearance of all patient facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment.
· Report any maintenance issues within the surgery to the Service Manager for prompt attention.
· Monitor cleaning supplies and advise the Manager when stock needs replenishing.
· Ensure the cleaning cupboard is always neat, organized, and fully stocked.
· Follow security protocols to maintain the safety of the practice at all times, ensuring proper procedures are followed when opening and closing the premises.
· Provide a daily courier service for equipment or documentation between practice locations.
· Attend and participate in training sessions as notified, to remain compliant with the latest standards and procedures.
· Carry out any other delegated duties that are appropriate to the role.
Key Requirements:
· Previous experience in a cleaning or decontamination role, ideally within a healthcare setting.
· Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
· Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to infection control and decontamination.
· Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security at all times.
· Flexibility to work outside of regular operating hours and possibly on weekends.
· Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
