AECOM has an excellent track record of delivering programmes of critical national importance in defence, which has positioned the business as one of the leading professional services consultancies for the UK MOD, Defence Manufacturers and Contractors, and with the US Department of Defence (DoD) across Europe. With the sector of strategic importance to AECOM, and with a strong outlook for growth in 2026 and beyond, there is an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team to support our Defence Project and Cost Management delivery Team in Glasgow.
Here's what you'll do:
- Day-to-day administration support to our Programme delivery, reporting into the Programme Delivery Team including production of agendas, slide decks, meeting records and action notes, making travel arrangements.
- Managing the Project Onboarding / Offboarding Process to ensure that staff join the team efficiently and comprehensively
- Supporting the collation internal cost information including monitoring of internal task codes and drafting invoices for issue
- Preparing for internal commercial and quality audits
- Support Resource tracking and deployment
- Monitor and track supplier status and invoices

QualificationsReady to push the limits of what's possible?
Here's what we're looking for:
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience working within a project coordination / management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills and strong knowledge of Excel (ideally including pivot tables and macros), PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI and other Office 365 tools is essential.
- Exceptional task management skillset and determined approach to ensure that tasks are completed by yourself and the team.
- Good financial experience with awareness of cost and revenue and finance based activities such as invoicing and payments.
- An eye for detail and the ability to problem solve where necessary.
- Ability to multitask and work to timelines with a flexible attitude.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to continually change and adapt.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant educational qualifications or experience in finance.
