We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Senior Carer to join our friendly team covering the Brighton & Hove area. In return for your skills, experience and commitment we offer excellent working conditions and benefits including:

Key Accountabilities:

  • To deliver all tasks stated on the care plans to an excellent standard and in accordance with all The Private Care Company's policies and procedures, best practice, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations
  • To carry out and assist clients of The Private Care Company with a variety of personal and practical care tasks including assisting with attending appointments and leisure activities as specified on each care plan
  • To support client's food and fluid intake as directed by the care plan, and to ensure documentation of all intake as per training
  • To maintain care skills at the required level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required
  • To communicate with and report any incidents to the Care Manager as necessary to ensure high standards of care are delivered
  • To liaise with other professionals such as district nurses, doctors, pharmacists, occupational therapists etc, to ensure that clients receive a high standard of care
  • To occasionally support the Care Manager with client reviews and assessments, risk assessments and staff supervisions and to offer ongoing support to care team

Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

  • The Care Certificate
  • Significant prior experience as a Care Assistant
  • Experienced in delivering more complex care
  • Experienced in multi-skilled care delivery
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems such as Office, Excel, Word, Outlook and the ability to learn and use computer software
  • A full clean UK driving licence and own car (essential)
  • Very good written and oral communication skills

Working Hours:

  • 0700 – 1900hrs
  • 4 days per week to include 1 weekend day each week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
