Location: Based across our Blackmore Vale Partnership surgeries (Sturminster Newton, Shaftesbury & Marnhull)
Salary: Band 4 £27, £29, Pro rata depending on experience.)
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week, part time hours considered
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
The Nursing Associate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within primary care to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. They will bridge the gap between healthcare assistants and registered nurses, supporting the delivery of holistic care to patients in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and national standards.
The role involves working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while maintaining accountability for one's own practice within defined parameters.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in line with practice and NMC guidelines.
Participate in quality improvement activities and audits.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
About You
Essential:
Registered Nursing Associate (NMC).
Experience working in a clinical or community setting.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Desirable:
Previous experience in Primary Care or General Practice.
Knowledge of chronic disease management and health promotion.
Familiarity with clinical systems (e.g., EMIS, SystmOne).
