We are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist/ Health Care Assistant 24 hours - must be phlebotomy trained.

  • Phlebotomy
  • Simple wound dressing, including suture and clip removal
  • NHS health checks
  • Assist with the Long-Term Conditions physical health review
  • Flu vaccinations
  • ECG's
  • Urinalysis
  • Chaperone
  • Support our nursing team with clinical tasks
  • Stock control and ordering

Person Specification

Education & Qualification

Essential

  • English and Math's Level 4-8 / GCSE
  • National care certificate
  • Level 2 or Level 3 In Health and Social Care Subject (or willingness to work towards)

Desirable

  • Care Certificate in healthcare (Level 3)

Experience

Essential

  • Evidence of working in a busy environment
  • Experience in a customer focused environment
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Evidence of working as a member of a team
  • Understands nature of the role and responsibilities

Good technology skills with knowledge of Emis, Docman and ICE
