Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential sites. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with industry standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute installation projects accurately.
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repair work.
  • Assist with assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters or electricians when necessary for complex projects.
  • Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials when required.

Qualifications

  • MUST BE GAS REGISTERED
  • 5 years+ experience plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance roles.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems.
  • Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and material estimations.
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined or elevated spaces.
  • Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles (preferred) Own vehicle considered after 3 month probation period .
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are advantageous but not essential.
