Role Description
This full-time on-site Service Manager role is based in Tewkesbury. The Service Manager will oversee service delivery, coordinate and support staff teams, and ensure the highest quality of care for individuals with mental health and complex needs. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, monitoring service compliance with organizational standards, developing care plans that are person-centered and recovery-focused, and liaising with families and stakeholders. The Service Manager will also coach and guide team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and contribute to the continuous development of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage new and growing accommodation service, ensuring high-quality support for clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of social care professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and client outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align services with community needs and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operational management, team leadership, and service delivery coordination
- Experience in creating and implementing person-centered care plans and developing trauma-informed practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of mental health and neurodiversity, as well as experience working with individuals with complex needs
- Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders, families, and community partners effectively
- Proficient understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance practices
- Experience in training, mentoring, and supporting team members
- Relevant professional qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 or equivalent) are preferred
